Marshall ryegrass seed is a high-yielding annual forage variety known for its industry-leading cold tolerance. 

Key Details
Origin: Developed and released by Mississippi State University in 1981.
Best Uses: Pasture grazing (improving steer weight gains), hay production, cover cropping, and erosion control.
Planting Time: Fall and winter when nighttime temperatures drop consistently.
Seeding Rate: 25 to 50 lbs. per acre for broadcasting; 30 lbs. per acre for drilling.
Planting Depth: 1/4 inch.

To seed Marshall ryegrass, you will need 25 to 50 pounds of seed per acre depending on your planting method:
