Tibouchina 'Morning Glory' (a cultivar of Tibouchina lepidota or related to T. urvilleana) is a vibrant tropical shrub or small tree prized for large, royal purple, velvety flowers blooming from spring to fall. It thrives in full sun, moist, acidic, well-drained soil, and is perfect for containers, hedges, or accent planting.

• Appearance: Features velvety, deep green leaves with prominent veins and large purple flowers that attract butterflies, bees, and hummingbirds.
• Size: Typically grows 5-18 feet tall and 6-10 feet wide, but can be pruned to maintain a smaller size or shaped into a tree.
